Keep Camp Maria “Camp Maria”

Camp Maria Retreat Center cannot carry out our mission without the assistance of our communiyt, our firends and those we serve. From time to time we have campaigns to raise funds to support the upkeep of this SCN ministry, funds to serve commuity groups who service special needs groups, and reaching out to other nn-profit groups who use our facilities to serve others. 

Our annual fundraising events focus on three each year: CMRC Raffle, Oyster Scald – Camp Maria Style, and #Giving Tuesday. In addition to raising funds for our us, they also raise “friends and supporters” for us and those we serve.

From individuals we also get connected with community organizations such as Christmas In April, the Rotary Clubs of Mechanicsville and Lexington Park, and our area catholic schools such as St. Mary’s Ryken High School, Father Andrew White School, and St. Mary’s – Bryantown School. Projects from spring “cleaning”, cabin repairs, ramp replacements, and gardening have taken place. Decorating Camp Maria Retreat Center has became the yearly project of the SMR National Honor Society – even a more important project with our hosting W.A.R.M. for the two weeks around Christmas.
